NCPEA Membership Requirements:
NCPEA Membership is open to anyone living in the State of North Carolina, who has paid their dues to PHBA,
and is in good standing with PHBA.
“Any person(s), firm(s), partnership(s), ranch(s), corporation(s), and organization(s) that are genuinely interested in the development and promotion of the Palomino horse shall be eligible to apply for membership in this Association and PHBA and shall become a member thereof upon payment of the proper dues. Concurrent membership in PHBA and NCPEA is required.” Article 2, Section 1 of the NCPEA Bylaws
Our Bylaws also allow for PHBA members residing in other states, to become Associate Members of NCPEA.
“Associate memberships will be available to out of state residents. Out-of-state associate members must be in good standing with their home state’s Palomino Exhibitor’s Association and will be required to pay annual dues to maintain their NCPEA membership. Out-of-State associate members will not be authorized to hold NCPEA offices or vote in NCPEA elections but may serve on committees and are eligible to participate in NCPEA events, earn NCPEA points, and qualify for NCPEA year-end high point awards.” Article 2 Section 4 of the NCPEA Bylaws
PHBA Membership is required to show in Open Classes at NCPEA shows. All owners listed on the horse’s current PHBA registration certificate and all exhibitors must be current individual members of PHBA
or PHBA-Youth (PHBA-Y). In addition, eligible adults 19 years of age or older may also join the
PHBA – Amateur association (PHBA-A).
NCPEA invites all SC PHBA Members to join us as your state affiliate!
With the recent inactive status of the South Carolina Palomino Exhibitors Association (SCPEA), all SC PHBA members will be assigned to an affiliate state by PHBA. You may choose to join any state affiliate but we welcome you to join NCPEA!
